St Jude's Gallery, specialising in British printmakers. Showing the work of many fantastic artists, past and present. I particularly like the black and white linocuts of Peter Clayton, and the timeless graphics of Edward Bawden, who was working before the Second World War. There is an online shop for buying wonderful prints and other items such as fabric, pillows, bags etc. Great for buying, browsing and getting lots of inspiration.

House of Illustration. Started in 2002 by Quentin Blake, showcases illustration in all its forms. It promotes and inspires established and emerging artists with competitions, exhibitions and also projects within schools to encourage the use of visual language.

Kettles Yard. An inspirational house full of beautiful objects and art.

We discovered Southern France 10 years ago and fell in love with the food, culture and lifestyle  enough to buy a small house to renovate. When we stay in Cacassonne this would be one of our top choices for accommodation  and their site gives an idea of the World Heritage city and surroundings.
